The Surprize Acres Story
Surprize Acres was started in 1999 upon the need for quality goods and services for the livestock industry in the Northeast. David has been involved with livestock and showing all of his life. He grew up on a Holstein Dairy Farm and raised Saanen goats as a 4-H project. For over 20 years he has been a professional Sheep Shearer and instructor in this industry. He also now shears Llamas and Alpacas. As a result of shearing and clipping for that amount of years He has acquired a vast amount of knowledge of clippers, combs & cutters. David started out sharpening sheep shearing equipment and then took on the challenge of sharpening, adjusting and polishing of the hand shears. He is very well known as one of the best craftsman at this art. He now sharpens all types of clipper blades and repairs all makes of clipping and shearing equipment. In the Spring of 1999 we
attended our first show. Every year since then we have added more and more
shows to our schedule. In the summer of 2000, due to customer demand, we
added Sheep Supplies. In 2001 we purchased a 30' vendors trailer for
showcasing our supplies and products at shows throughout the Northeast. In the summer of 2002, because
of customer demand, we added Cattle Supplies. All of these ventures have
been overwhelmingly received by our customers. In 2003 we added our own
line of grooming products. We have worked long and hard to be able to offer our customers the best quality products and customer service available. It has been because of you, our loyal customers, that it has been possible for us to grow at the rate we have to become a major supplier of livestock products and services in the Northeast. We have tried to make our website as complete as possible. If you have any questions or do not see what you are looking for please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to assist you. Please feel free to share your comments and/or suggestions with us. We would like to thank each and every one of you who have helped to make our business a success. David Dziengelewski |
